A group of ten women from Cairns known as ‘The Pretty Flamingoes’ made a 156 km trek from Mareeba to Chillagoe to raise money for mental health research. The Great Wheelbarrow Race is a three day annual event staged by the Tableland Regional Council.
The Pretty Flamingos from Ergon Energy Cairns
was supported by the Rotary Club of Cairns Sunrise to compete in the annual Wheelbarrow Race. They raised $13,200 for the Australian Rotary Health.
